This beautiful depiction of the bustling city of Norwich has an Art Deco and Pop art flavour to it. A couple are pictured walking into the city as the geese fly overhead whilst swans drift along in the river below in perfect synchronicity. It also has a hedonistic quality to the painting and is reminiscent of canal views of Amsterdam where we seek out limitless escapism.
