The Artwork’s Story - A boat sits on a still expanse of water. Calm and poised, we contemplate whether the boat has just returned from a long journey or if it sits waiting to embark on the next one. It parallels with our human experience, we rarely rest without the thought of getting going again, and when we’re caught up on our travels we often long to arrive and rest up somewhere. As human beings we have an inner restlessness, I suppose we’re all aware that we must get going and embark on our big desires because we know that life is short.
