The Artwork’s Story:

‘Love transforms us’

This painting is made up of hundreds of individually hand-painted love hearts with meticulous attention to detail. Some are painted in gold and bronze. This scene could be imagined as a cascade of wedding confetti laid out in a magical fashion to reveal the larger painting image of a couple beneath the oak tree.

Trees are always growing, as are we, and we become the people that we never imagined we could be, and that whole evolution of human-kind is ultimately propelled by the fundamental desire for love in our lives.

There is one thing that unites mother-nature with human-nature, and that is love.
