The Artwork’s Story:

Time apart - spent together.

There is balance to be achieved between two people in a relationship. We have to give each other enough time and space apart in order for the relationship to thrive. In this painting we see a couple out in nature relaxing and dreaming by the water’s edge as the leaves fall from the tree. I have given equal focus to the 4 key elements of earth, air, water and fire (the sun,) in this piece to create balance and equilibrium. Mother-nature and human-nature combine perfectly in this scene.
